"Aerial" oil on canvas, 12"x16", 2009

I used this canvas to explore texture. My paint applications ranged from pouring liquid solutions, applying paint chips picked from the bottom dirty jars, as well as, more tradition brushwork. What I found most exciting about this work was that my paint applications mimic the natural ways in which the elements (sand and sea) move and form.

  1. That is AMAZING! You probably don't remember me because you moved away when we were little, but I'm your cousin, Courtney, from Utah. Are you selling your art anywhere? I know Grandpa Mac would be absolutely thrilled to get one.

  2. I saw "Aerial" up-close and personal. Its creation, as stated above, is pure genius! I wanted to touch it... I wanted to have it! I still do! Molly Bo has created a planet that has moving clouds, tall mountains, green tropics and blue oceans (deep and shallow). "Aerial" is a living planet formed by the master's hand. I'd live there.
