"Aerial" oil on canvas, 12"x16", 2009I used this canvas to explore texture. My paint applications ranged from pouring liquid solutions, applying paint chips picked from the bottom dirty jars, as well as, more tradition brushwork. What I found most exciting about this work was that my paint applications mimic the natural ways in which the elements (sand and sea) move and form.
